The game has started and guess what Freddie is here already so it must be the playoffs. Kevin came to play today doing everything and seeming to be everywhere with a quick eleven points. If The Bears make it pass this round someone is going to have to bring my man Freddie some lotion for those legs. Kevin is hustling so much he doesn’t know when to stop catching a foul while crashing into the chairs on the sidelines causing a stoppage in play to clean up the damage. Ben catches his third personal foul and has to sit, and this will surely hurt Davis Hoops who needs his scoring tonight. Ross misses several attempts from three but gets a nice steal and goes coast to coast scoring the layup though his team is still down ten. Freddie catches a nice elbow to the jar and needs a minute to regain some feeling in that jar. The Bears are starting to get run out of the building, turning the ball over and no one is playing any kind of defense. The score has them down twenty-two points before they would call a time out to stop the bleeding. Mike (who has yet to get into the game) asks if they don’t use their time outs will they lose them? And the answer is yes someone should have called time out long time ago as this massacre started long time ago. Kevin hits his second three of the night and is so happy he high-steps down the court as he is feeling himself something major tonight. When you can’t make layups you get a score like tonight. The Bears are getting mauled being almost down forty points and there is still ten minutes left in the game. It’s time to pack up the laptop because there is nothing more I can add to this ass whipping.

It’s the playoff’s, that means that players you haven't seen in weeks will be showing up as is the case for Bet the Over’s Andrew who is killing Nazgul on the boards to begin the game. We are already up to five fouls and Sam hasn’t even entered the game yet so one and one will soon be coming for Nazgul. I couldn’t even get these words out before we seen a Sam foul followed by a Ben foul and now Nazgul is at the line for One and one. Nazgul is going to need Mark to be superman because the rest of his team is not giving him any help. Andrew bricks one off the backboard and it goes in and of course Sam yells from the bench, the bank is open. The first half is done and Nazgul find themselves down 18 to 30 and in need of a shot in the arm from someone not named Mark. Corey would usually have had two three’s by now but he only has one attempt at this point. Anthony finally sees one go down and it cuts the lead to ten. Brian encouraged Alex to shoot the three and after several jab steps he does just that sending an airball into the stage area. With eight minutes left this one is not over for Nazgul yet they still can come back only down eleven, but they need stops. Carlo finally makes a three and it’s now under ten after Mark gets a tough layup to go. Then Carlo hit’s Corey for his second three of the night and it’s a ball game again Nazgul down only four points. Someone said something to Corey at half because he is playing like a man possessed. Nazgul see their first lead of the night (well since the start of the game) and it comes with less than three minutes to go in the game. With Bet the Over failing to get stops and not able to put the ball in the ocean they are watching their season come to an end. Bet the Over would have no choice but to play the foul game, and it’s failing miserably. Anthony gets a steal in the closing seconds to cap the game off making a meaningless layup

Hot start for Matt knocking down consecutive three-point buckets making it look like NNHS would run away with this one early. Spencer is digging deep into his bag, dishing out three quick assists and crashing the boards easily getting put backs. He is a problem and Bye week recognizes this as well which leads to their first time out of the half. Though he would go to the line and air ball a free throw as well as miss the second one (should the game plan have been put him on the line?) Rob knocks down a nice three after side stepping his defender, but they are going to need a lot more of this kind of play from him if they want to win this one. Spencer gets called for a three second call and questioned why it didn’t reset but this only happens on shot attempts. Murphy is shooting from deep (0-5) but not making anything early and just might need to do something different if he’s to help his team win. The half is almost over and one of Bye Weeks’ most prolific scores (Mike Q.) hasn’t scored a point yet and this is not a good sign if you’re a Bye week fan. Of course, soon as I write this Mike Q. makes back-to-back shot’s one of which is a three pointer. Murphy starts off the second half as he did the first, missing three-point shots. Guess it’s good to see he doesn’t lack confidence at all. Someone must have said something to Mike Q because I know he is not reading this yet but he came out in the second half Ballin. Vu was battling for the offensive rebound with Spencer catching the worst of it getting hit in his face and needing a sub. Back-to-back steals for Mike Q would only produce two points but it’s got to be demoralizing for NNHS. Murphy finally get’s one to fall from deep and it couldn’t have come at a better time for Bye week as they take a one-point lead. This would not last long though because Spencer would find Matt in the corner for back-to-back three’s forcing Bye week to call it’s final time out. Murphy makes his second three of the night bringing his team to within three points with less than two minutes left in the game. Next time down it would be an airball for Murphy sending the ball to the stage. On a night where you must play great defense It was just way to much leaving Matt open for three and this was the down fall for Bye weeks chances on advancing to the next round.

It’s playoff time and it’s win or go home and there is definitely no crying to the refs. about blown calls. This time in the season we all should know there will be a couple of calls missed. Rim Ticklers open up with a twelve to four run behind a quick start from Garrett’s eight points. After a couple more blown possessions for Clever Trevor they had seen enough so time out was called. This must have woke up Tony because he would go on a nice shooting spree from downtown that had Rim Ticklers entire team scratching their heads. Even Paul hit a three and he usually never shoots from that range, electing to do most of his damage in the post or mid-range. If Rim Ticklers are going to be competitive they will need a lot of point production from Drew and something from Jeff or Dainis who seem to be missing in most games lately. Later in the game Jeff has seen a couple go down from deep and this is desperately needed and should help him get his groove back because Ticklers are falling behind now because Tony has picked up where he left off in the first half. Jason is letting it fly and seems unconscious from deep knocking down four helping his team maintain the lead. Paul muscles Dainis and gets the and1 called against him pushing the lead to ten and this forces a time out called from Rim Ticklers. This wouldn’t matter much though as they let Tony (30 points) and Jason (22 points) do them in going down 68 to 57

Last game of the night and regular season and it might be over before it get’s started with Bye Week at a huge disadvantage offensively. Bye week has made a executive decision that they are going to play zone against Nazgul and it is paying off so far with Nazgul missing most of it’s shots from deep. Cory can’t buy a three so far in this game and B. Murphy is putting in huge shots after missing his first three attempts. Though he came late Thai is like the spark plug for his team and is the most vocal which is just what Bye week needs. It helps Bye week as well having Tyler having the best game I’ve seen this season knocking in 3 threes so far and we still have four minutes left in the first half. This one has not gone nowhere near what I expected with Nazgul down 39 to 25 at the half. From the jump Bye week has pressured Nazgul into some terrible shots and Nazgul had no problem taking them. To be fair Cory missed a lot of wide open ones tonight and no one could have predicted that going zero for seven from deep. We still have another half to play but it’ don’t appear to be getting but because they can’t stop anyone on the defensive. All I can say is Wow Bye Week has figured out the recipe for success against the power house Nazgul team just by sitting in that zone forcing them to take threes that (for tonight) are not going in. It’s crazy but this one is just about over and there is still little less than nine minutes left, but Nazgul is down nineteen and need a miracle to come back. Mark needed to take over the game more for Nazgul and he just never got the ball enough. A couple of baskets by Karthile and Mark finally getting the ball in sweet spot got the score to within eight points. Bye week found every possible way to give this one away in the end but got enough stops to escape with the win. Nazgul took way too long to get their defense set and failed to get the win tonight.
