Game number 3 was a classic right from the tip as SAUS was coming off their first loss of the season and W&C has played a lot better over the past few weeks. Pat Heffernan would get his squad W&C started out on the right foot with an easy transition lay up. SAUS would have an answer for every shot W&C made early on. It was 10-10 within the first 7 minutes of the game. Griffin Haas and Maroti had 15 points combined for SAUS. The whole half it was back and forth with Pat doing most of the scoring for W&C as he led all first half scorers with 14 points. It was one of the higher scoring first halves we have seen this season as both teams combined for 67 points which is really impressive. Especially with how physical the game was. W&C would be up 36-31 going into the second half.
Saus brought the lead down to two right away in the second half and that was due to Griffin who started out red hot in the second half hitting his first 3 shots. But every time one team scored the other would! This was some of the best basketball I have seen since scoring this league. Clay Moseman who was a massive player in the second half hitting two 3s for his squad. I didn’t write the time left down but it was 54-53 then Mary Chambers would hit a 3pt shot to make it 57-53. The threes in the second half were killing SAUS. Austen Moye was having a quite game until he had the biggest play of the game which was an and 1 with 2 minutes left to make it 59-56. SAUS would end up with the ball on the last possession of the game with a chance to tie the game with a 3, but W&C would shut the 3pt line down and leave the paint open and SAUS scored a layup as time would expire falling short 61-60. GAME OF THE YEAR!!!

The finale of the night had Kvyo with an uphill battle as they were playing the top dawg SAUS. The first 5 though Kvyo came to play. It was a tie ball game 5-5. It was then 10-5, Xiaobo Sheng hit two 3s for his squad. Jeff French would get and OREB put back basket that would start the onslaught. Marotti Mentor tied it up right after that. It was 10-10. Then SAUS would go on to hit more 3s creating a bigger gap between the teams. Remy Dumont was doing all the scoring for Kvyo besides those two 3s from Xiaobo. SAUS would go into the second half with an 11 pt lead with no signs of slowing down as this game was just a mismatch. 29-18
Griffin Haas lost his aura in the first half due to his hair cut but it came back in the second half as he hit a 3 and a nice floater. SAUS would just toy with Kvyo the whole half as they were just having fun out there as the score was 42-21 at 16 minutes. A 13-3 run for SAUS. It didn’t stop there either it just continued on. SAUS had 3 players score 12 plus points which is just great team basketball which is one of the reasons why this team is undefeated. They would stay undefeated after the clock hit zero as they won with ease. Final 64-27.

The first game on paper was a little bit of a mismatch as Donuts No Dunkin had a tough task ahead of them playing a top dawg in SAUS. But that didn’t stop DND from coming out strong with a 7-2 run to start the game in the first 5 minutes. That didn’t last long though as SAUS would go on to tie it with a three point shot from Andrew Ong around the 12 minute mark. Then both teams would go back and forth, Then DND would have a lead for most of the rest of the half after Anthony Neff hit his second three and DND was up three. Then SAUS regained the lead late in the half after Chin Kuo had a great pass to Eric Malumed 23-21. They would then hit a FT to make it a 3 pt game. DND had a chance to tie it before half and they did as Kevin Baldwin hit a massive shot, nothing but net. Tied 24-24
The next half started out with Anthony, continuing his success that he had in the first half. He had two quick baskets which put SAUS on their heels. It would be back and forth for most of the half. SAUS had the lead at the 10 minute mark 36-35. The game was an intense battle, DND was playing some of the best ball I’ve seen them play. Anthony was on fire and he hit a big three to tie it at the 8 minute mark then right after he had a nice layup to take the lead 40-38. SAUS wasn’t backing down as they were talking it out. They bent but didn’t break as late in the game it was 44-40 SAUS was down. That's when Chin hit a massive 3 and then a steal and a fast break basket right after to take the lead. Then SAUS would close it out at the FT line and get the dub 50-46.
