Without Kelsey Cornwell to be the big man in the paint, Thank You University had an uphill battle against The Unreliables and ultimately fell 55-25.
Matt McDonough hit his first perimeter shot of the night after going 0-3 with 5 minutes left to make it 14-12. The last few minutes of the first half sparked a rally on both ends as Andrew Pratt hit the three at the buzzer to make it a 1 pt game, 25-24.
TU started the second half off with a 19-0 run. Eli Vogel was sent to the line making the first and only point of the half for TYU. Final score TU 55 - 25 TYU.

The first comeback game of the night was won by Los Market Baskets as they found their groove in the second half despite being down 11 points at the half.
Although Los Market Baskets had the first bucket of the night, The Unreliables quickly went up by 11 points with an overhead behind-the-back pass from John Lamb connected with Eric Fleming to make it 3 back-to-back 3’s in a row. LMB then went on a run of their own going 2-10 to make it a 13-20 game. First half ends, 21-32.
The second half was heavy for shots from LMB, going 4 for 7 from beyond the arc and Ethan Walko knocking down 18 points of the 27-point second-half effort, effectively winning them the game. The final score was 48-44.

Game hasn’t started yet and Unreliables are down two to nothing due to no CaC shirts and it’s week eight right? Nicco was a one man wrecking crew for Last Chance U looking like a cross between speedy Gonzalas and Jason Williams on steroids. The kid was nailing three back-to-back and it looked like they would run away with the game early but Mike and Eric of Unreliables had something to say about that. Unreliables are staying in the game do to their three-point shooting but needs to play better defense on Nicco if they are going to win this game. With neither team able to hold a lead we are going into the last eight minutes with Unreliable up by two and Last Chance needs a time out. Nicco yells from the bench how is Matt of Unreliables so wide open and Matt replies “Cause you Defense Sucks” Believe I heard a return response but it was low if and meaningless as they watch their lead get erased. Last Chance is falling apart in the last minutes of the game shooting terrible shots and letting Unreliable play with them on Offense. All you hear is get number four get number four but I don’t think anyone is listening at this point as this one is over and Unreliable close out Last Chance in the second half. This one was 37 to 34 Unreliables at half time.
