With the second game of the night Wolf and Co versus Chop Wood. We had Marc just finishing the regular season averaging 19.4 points and 9.6 rebounds over the span of 5 games, and Griffin on Wolf & Co averaging 10.3 points and 10 rebounds over 9 games. I knew Marc going into this game would be driving in and drawing fouls to go to the free-throw line, and that he did. He shot 8 free-throws but unfortunately was not able to capitalize on it, however his ability to draw fouls is impressive. However, Wolf & Co seemed to figure it out and actually drew 2 charges.

Wolf & Co started the game off hot, going on a 10-0 run in the first 4 minutes of the game. Victor on Wolf & Co started with a step-back 3 on the very first possession of the game and that gave the team momentum. However, Marc was able to bring the team back to single a single possession game at the end of the first half 18-21 Wolf & Co leading.

With not enough guys to sub out Chop Wood started to slow down in the 2nd half and Wolf & Co took advantage of that. They pushed the ball down the court every chance they got, not letting Chop Wood set up on defense. Wolf & Co were moving the ball around very well. Wolf & Co went on a run and didn’t stop, Cooper had some tough layups in the late game. They have so many players on the team, it really doesn’t allow enough time for some players to shine. Nonetheless, everyone on Wolf & Co played very well which allowed them to take the win over Chop wood.

Chop Wood:

Marc N 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals.

Wolf & Co:

Griffin 9 points and 5 rebounds.

Victor  7 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals.

Dylan 10 points.

With the first game of the night. We have Chop Wood versus Big Ballers LLC. Both teams came out the first half hooping. Both teams shooting 3-pointers, scoring, and trading baskets. Marc on Chop Wood had an ankle breaker on the 2nd possession of the game, but unfortunately missed the field goal, nonetheless it was still a highlight. Meanwhile, Daniel on Big Ballers LLC also had a highlight himself, hitting 2 3-pointers back to back within the first few minutes of the game only to be answered by Justin’s 3 of his own for Chop Wood.

Chop Wood was able to draw in a lot of fouls in the first half, going to the line almost 6 times. The only problem was the team was missing their free throws. Both teams were moving the ball really well, playing hard defense, moving their feet around. In the 2nd half Marc was really trying to bring the game back for his team, going coast to coast, drawing fouls, going to the line. However Big Ballers LLC pushed everything down the court after the rebound, they did not allow Chop Wood to get set up with their defense which ultimately led them to the win with the final score of 42-52 Big Ballers LLC.

Marc on Chop Wood had 21 points and 10 rebounds, and his teammate Justin had 14 points right behind him. On Big Ballers LLC Daniel had 14 points hitting 4 3-pointers. Uros had 15 points and 10 rebounds, and Nate had 13 points 7 rebounds and 3 steals. A quieter game for Nate considering how well he played the weeks before.

Second game of the night. Wolf and Co versus Chop Wood. I noticed Wolf and Co were missing a lot of their players. Usually they have at least 10 players all the time. The start to the game was very slow for Wolf and Co, ending with 13 points in the 1st half, at which the first 10 minutes they only managed to score 4 points. I noticed that Austin was not there to facilitate the game for his team, I think he would have made a huge difference for them.

Chop Wood had a better start than Wolf and Co ending the 1st half with 24. Marc helped his team put up 10 points in the 1st half. As the 2nd half started Wolf and Co managed to start going on a run as Chop wood struggled, scoring only 4 points in 9 minutes of the 2nd half. Both teams had an off night, however in the 2nd half Wolf and Co managed to make a comeback and bring it to a 2 possession game 30-34. Down 4 points and Wolf and Co managed to call a timeout with 55.6 seconds left. Wolf and Co had some good looks to tie the game, however the shots weren’t falling in for them and Chop Wood managed to pull off the win through the free-throws, ending the game with 37-33.

On Chop Wood, Marc finished the game with 18 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. On Wolf and Co Dylan had 9 points and 6 rebounds. It was my first time watching Dylan play. However, he looked like a solid player, everytime he shot the ball I thought it was going in, however it would come up short. It looked like Dylan just had an off night for himself.
