Kapa VS TNH " No Matty O, Ah'O"

To start the game members of Kapa were checking their phones and shaking their heads, no Matty O as he was stuck in extra innings for baseball. Liam got open off good ball movement and nailed a 3 to get us going, Brett 3 6-0. TSO hook, Lu 1-2 6-3. Liam splash 3, how about another 3 12-3. Randal hits fade, but Roberts gets 2 with nice cut 16-5. Randal 3 ball, Kap 3 they were clawing back 16-11. Brett facial 3, Lu 1-2, Roberts post work 21-12. Kap crazy up n under,but Harry hits momentum 3, Roberts finishes wild high off window 26-14. randal strong take, but Brett slashes in. Tso window, then goes 1-2 28-19. Liam smooth drive, Kap1-2, Liam 2-2 32-20. kap from deep.... yup it was good, then beautiful hesi stutter step to get another 3 to go 32-26. Liam was just that guy as he fired and drained another trey ball. Tso would end the half with a cutting hoop 35-28 TNH. 

Lu hits moiddy, but Robers response J, Liam adds another fucking 3, Brett trey 43-30. Lu gets the roll, but Roberts right back at him. Brett would get T'ed up, Amir would add a big time 3 and suddenly it was 45-38. harry came up clutch here as he gors 2-2,and then nails a 3. That would be the dagger as the lead would only get as close as 52-43, without Matty there just wasn't enough fore power, but Kapa played with heart, and a no quit attitude,and you have to respect that they go down 64-52.

Kap-A-) Dude was clearly hurt,and not himself,and still provided some real magic! deep 3's , 3 blocks, dimes, you don't love basketball if you don't love Kap!

Lu-C+- He can play better but fought very hard. 

Randal-A- loved the fight,and effort. He gave it all and showed why he is a captain. 

TSO-B- Very nice game from him, his stock is up. 

Amir-B- His + - was good, hit a big 3 that gave them a shot. 

TNH 

Brett-B- Not his best but his hustle is so disruptive, no wants to deal with his physicality. 

Roberts-A- Huge double double with extra ketchup and bacon

Liam-A+++++- WOWWWWWWWWWWWW

Harry-A-) I thought he was really good. Did little winning things and also hit big 3's that broke their backs 

Game two of the Over 30 playoffs was Harry’s 2 seed New Hotness taking on Ian’s #7 seed. When these two teams met bac in Week 4, KYW handled business, led by Cawley’s 15 points. After that meeting, NH won 4 out of 5 and KYW lost every remaining game in the regular season, so momentum was defiantly not on their side. After torching the league from deep for a couple weeks, Harry has reverted to his old self but fortunately NH would welcome the return of Brett Armstrong for the playoffs. 

Cawley and Frongi started off the scoring for KYW, but NH was able to get to the free throw line to stabilize. After a Harry three, it was 6-6. Brett hit back to back threes for NH  and Frongi scored twice for NH. Frongi was the leading scorer for KYW for most of the first half, finishing at the rim through contact and adding two threes. Etheridge and Roberts did work in the paint for NH and their ability to create second chance opportunities were huge. With KYW down 10, Cawley had a run late in the first half to get within striking distance, but NH closed the half out strong with Brett finishing on a tough drive and Liam sinking a three right as time expired. NH went into the break up 31-21. 

Coming out of the half, Liam and Brett hit consecutive threes and it looked like NH was going to run away with the game. Alex Worth stepped up for his namesake team and hit back to back threes to keep KYW in it. Frongi continued to play well for KYW and was giving them a spark in the second half. Brett had the answer for NH, continuing to be electric from three. Brett would finish the game 6-10 from deep. Despite this, KYW was still battling and Cawley and Frongi got KYW to within two with 6:00 left. NH would continue to get buckets and the scoring completely dried up for KYW. They would only score 1 point for the rest of the game and NH would win 69-55. NH will face Kapodonna in the semis.

Brett A+ player of the game. 60% from deep plus defensive intensity

Liam A hit a few big shots and did well distributing and defensively
Harry C hit a couple threes but was not as impactful as recent outings. Still got the win tho

Roberts B good game with assists and offensive rebounds
Eth C scoring was not there but contributed with offensive board, assist and stocks

KYW
Cawley B+ efficient shooting to go with 4 blocks
Worth C+ had a nice stretch in the second half, but otherwise was quiet
Marlier C- limited minutes but the energy and hustle were there
Frongi A led the team in scoring
Ben N/A I don’t remember him playing but I think he was there
Cundall D didn’t have much of an impact   

TNH VS Nuggets " Oh Dany boy!"

Kielley running gets 2. Liam 3 3-2. Jake and 1, hanks 3 8-3. Liam 1-2, but Hanks 3 again, dany steal and 3, dias adds cut 16-4. Eth floater, but jake gets middy 18-6. Eth floater, Roberts 2-2 18-11. Dany 3 21-11. Liam cut, dany pushes pace for 2. Eth spin, Roberts and 1 24-17 after missed ft. Kielley floater, but Roberts cutting hoop and middy, roberts 2-2, and then he goes down the lane, and then he attacks he post holy lord it was 27-26 TNH, liam would add a dime to Harry, Eth and 1 at the buzzer TNH up 31-16 at the break. 

Dias 3 to start half, then he adds lay in 31 all. Dany middy, roberts j ties it.Dany finds his spot again, and then hits floater, kielley adds sick up n under, dany off window 41-33. Liam wide open lay up, but Dany 2-2 43-35. eth 1-2. Liam 2-2, roberts 2-2, Eth to rack 43-42. Killey obrd put in, dias drives in, and then he converts floater 49-42. liam 2-2, but Hanks window keeps pressure eon 51-44. Roberts post, Liam steal and finish. Dias middy 53-48. Eth crazy shot, roberts powers in, but Hanks nails big time 3 56-52. roberts bully ball, but dany with the clutch floater. looked like nuggets had it locked up but a bad turnover lead to Liam 3, they miss the ft, Harry with a shot to tie things at buzzer................ air ball , Nuggets escape 60-57. 

TNH

Liam-B- Was very good down the stretch, just needed a few more plays 

Harry-C- Not the worst rebounding but the bar has been raised , zero 3's. 

Roberts-A+- His best game in along time, he was unstoppable at times. 

Eth-B- Hustled hard ran out of gas, hit a 3!!

Nuggets

Dany-A- Clutch, and deadly down the stretch,its good to see him. 

Jake-D- really rough game for my bro, he will have better nights.

Kielley-B- rebounding was very good, I want him to attack even more !

Hanks-B+- 2 clutch shots add in 2 blocks, dude had a nice night 

Dias-A- He was so good down the stretch. found great shots and created for his teammates as well . 

Gilles-C- 4 obrs hustle was there. 

The nightcap of week 7 was a matchup between Harry’s New Hotness and Randall’s Kapodonna. Hotness was lived up to their name and has been one of the most impressive and deep teams in the league this season. Harry in particular has been exceptional, being a flamethrower from three-point land.  Kapodonna has been hit or miss but has plenty of talent to be in games. New Hotness would once again be missing alleged best player Brett Armstrong and Kapodonna would be missing Luigi.

Starting things off, Etheridge and Randall would take turns attacking the basket. Roberts was getting his post looks to fall but after a Kap three, Kapodonna led 10-6. New Hotness would spark a run here, with threes by Roberts, Harry and Liam, and Eth continuing to get to the rim and crash the offensive glass. By the halfway point of the first half, New Hotness had swung to a 3 point lead. Harry hit two more threes and Kap and Amir would connect from deep to try and keep pace with the Three Point Gawd. Kap and Amir each hit another three and Kapodonna was able to retake the lead. However, Liam would go on a run for NH to close out the half, scoring from deep, midrange and the free throw line to give NH a boost going into the half. At the half New Hotness was up 40-35, with Kap leading all scorers with 14. 

Coming out of the half, Roberts continued his strong play, getting buckets inside and hitting his 2ndd three of the game. Matty and Harry traded threes and New Hotness had a 10 point lead. Roberts had a tough and-1 finish, which Randall objected to and would be hit with a tech. Fortunately for Kapodonna, Roberts missed both free throws off the tech. Kapodonna continued to fight, and despite late threes from Kap and Randall they were never able to close the gap to less than 10. New Hotness secure the win and take the 2^nd seed heading into the final week of the regular season. Kapodonna falls to 3-5. 

Kapodonna

Kap A Kap was doing it all, finished with 20/8/3 with and impressive 4 blocks and 4 steals

Matty B solid all around game, shot efficiently 

Christos C made some impact plays, but also missed wide open looks 

Randall C the stats are ok but mentally was frustrated. 

Amir A hit 4 threes on 50% shooting, cant ask for more from Amir

Harry A continues his scorcher, shooting 5-6 from 3 to go with 4 assits

Roberts A Roberts does it all for his team

Eth A Could not be stopped at the rim or contained on the offensive glass. Major piece of the win for NH

Liam A played great D and shot the ball well (3-7 from tree, 7-7 from the free throw line)
