D-Graded VS B&R " Perfect Run"

Ian went with starting Stull and it paid off right away with a triple 3-0. MJ swish 3, dany drive 5-3. Roberts lane work, then adds runner, Stull 3 10-5. Mj looking spry drives in, but Sull fuego 3 up 3 good 13-7. Mj hot himself drains 3 13-10. Ian and 1 misses ft, Amir gets a 3 to go15-13. Ian 3 bang, but dany to rack, dany 3 we were tied at 18. Cody 3, dany 3, Ian post, Dany drive back and fourth we went. There would be a ton of points with little separation by both teams as the score sat at 39-38 D Graded with a half time lead. 

MJ 3, but Roberts p n roll, but MJ black out hits middy. Ian $ J, and again for the tie 44 all. Dany long 2. J.Mul obrd put in, fasano down the lane for the lead, but Dany spalses 3 to get the edge back. Roberts ties game with obd, Fasano with the rare 3, as MJ slashes in. Stull with great D, and it sparked B&R j.Mul 3, off a great behind the back pass from cody, Cody floater, Stull obd assist for j.Mul 3 and this one got out of hand very quickly, B&R ever look back 79-64.

J.Mul-B-) Not his best but the hustle/desire were there. they pulled away when he started hitting. 

Roberts-A-Doing it all, dude is such an impact player in all areas. 

Stull-B+- Started hit, and the added hustle and dimes 

Ian-A- What an incredible session by him. Just crazy 

Fasano-B- dude plays his role so well

Cody-A-) When they need buckets he is there to deliver 

D-Graded

Danny-A- Holy lord he was a bucket

Mj-A- Scoring a ton, just wasn't enough 

Harry-B-) Rebounding and D were good 3 points is not. 

Amir-D- doesn't look like he's having much fun out there

Eloi-C-) Hustled hard, but the results were not there. 

Closing out week 8 was a matchup between two of the lower seeded teams in the league with Harry’s winless D-Graded taking on Frongi’s Tortured Paisanos, who entered the week at 2-5. Despite having a deep team and the league’s best player in Casey, the Paisanos have lost 4 games this session by 3 or less points. They entered the week hoping a match up against Harry’s lowly squad would be a chance assert a dominant victory. Unfortunately, they were missing Casey so the role players would have to step up. 

Both teams came out strong as Frongi and Danny traded buckets. After a Frongi three ball, Paisanos had a three point lead. Harry cashed a three of his own and Jeffries hit back to back from deep to take the lead. Frongi scored back to back buckets again but D-Graded was electric from range and threes from Danny and MJ increased the lead to 9. Frongi had a nice and-1 late in the half and was playing hard to keep his team in it. D-Graded was able to prevent any one else on Paisanos from scoring and went into the half up 30-22. Frongi led Paisanos with 12 and Danny had 13 for D-Graded. 

In the 2^nd half, Bohnaker came alive from range and opened the half with a three ball. Thanks to buckets from James and big shots from Chao, Paisanos closed the gap to 2 points. Luigi tied the game on a floater and both teams traded baskets throughout the 2^nd half. Worth was playing well for D-Graded and Bohnaker continued to shoot the lights out for Paisanos. Luigi added a three and the game was tied at 47. Another Bohnaker bucket and a three put D-Graded up4 with time winding down. After the two minute warning, D-Graded was fouling but Paisanos were not hitting their free throws. A three from Danny put D-Graded up by 1 but Frongi had the captain bucket and Bohnaker made a free throw to go up by 2. D-Graded would once again send Bohnaker to the free throw line with 1 second left but he would miss and D-Graded got the board and took a timeout. Down 2, Harry decided to go for the win and off the timeout found Danny for a buzzer beater three. He cashed that and Paisanos once again found themselves at the receiving end of a game winner.

Frongi B huge first half, much quieter 2^nd half 

Lu B+ great job on the glass and moving the ball 

Chao B+ knocked down a big three 

Bohnaker A- hit 5 threes but missed key free throws late

Peteet C+ didn’t score but the 7 assists were nice

D-Graded

Danny A+ for the game winner 

MJ A- very impactful on both ends

Harry A had the game winning assist and a nice block

Eloi C+ pretty quiet game

Worth C I feel like he is capable of more

D-Graded VS L&C " That Hanks is too sexy right now" 

Civale gets us going with an easy 2. Dany drains 3 3-2. Worth O brd finish 5-2.Civale floater5-4. 3gawd nails 3 8-4.Civale easy 2 again, Eloi hits 3. After some work from Civale/Hanks game was tied at 11. Civale obrd for the lead, Dany 2-2 ties things at 13.Civale 3, Dany responds with J, but Hanks splashes trey, Sydroko adds filthy finish, the run continues as Hanks puts in obrd 23-15. Amir hits much needed 3, but Hanks ripping their heart out with a 3 of his own, Civale sexy off the window. Worth/ MJ got cooking and made some nice plays bringing the score 28-24. Jet with captain 3, Civale baseline, Dany finishes the half 2-2 it was 33-26. 

Eloi 3 to start half, Dany 3 33-32.Hanks balling gets another , Dany middy, Civale fade, Dany 2-3, but their goes that Hanks man again 39-36. MJ playing well connects on middy. Carlos Roverdinero nails 3, but Dany hits 3 of his own 42-41. Carlos to rack, Hanks 3, Civale and 1, Jet would expload for a 6-0 run and this game was pretty much over. D-Graded showed good fight down the stretch turning a 21 point lead to 10 but that's as close as they got as they fall 76-66. 

L&C

Jet-B+- Great 2nd half put them over the top 

Sydorko-B- Solid game, loved the passing and poise 

Civale-A- MVP stuff, dominant, played well all over the court

Hanks-A+- Efficent ready, this dude is putting up numbers in every league. 

D-Graded 

Dany-B-) lots of points but barely no rebounds and zero assist 

Worth-B- Got cooking with nice run late but they need that earlier 

Eloi-C- Hustled hard, struggled finishing around the hoop 

MJ- A-) Thought he was a bright spot, played very well all around game. 

Harry-C+- Nothing overall terrible, nothing overly good , 2 3's is ok 

Amir-B-) Hit a 3, foungt hard for boards. 

Closing out week 6 Harry’s bottom of the barrel D-Graded took on Randall’s Everything Zen, who entered the week at 3-2. Harry was missing his bench in Eloi and Amir and Randall had everyone available. 

Starting things off Danner channeled his inner Sam Hauser and cashed a three ball which was followed by Weinstein getting a jumper and Murphy converting a big and-1 finish around the rim. Jeffries stepped up for D-Graded for 5 straight points. I liked what I was seeing from MJ as he was looking assertive on offense and looking to beat guys off the dribble. EZ held on to a lead throughout most of the half, Scottie had two threes and Zeng hit a nice runner. Danny looked to himself to close the gap for D-Graded and scored 9 straight points late in the half, cutting the lead to two, but a late three from Hammond put EZ up by 5 heading into the half. 

Coming out of the half, both teams traded buckets consistently, notably led by MJ for D-Graded and Weinstein for EZ. Danny went on another mini-run and scored another 6 straight points and tied the game at 45 with 12 minutes remaining. Both teams continued to throw punches late in the half, Murphy had a few nice finishes for EZ and Worth his a three. Late in the game MJ had a clutch series when he got to the free throw line and hit a big three with two minutes left to cut the deficit to 3. After the two minute warning, neither team could get a bucket and EZ would miss three consecutive 1 and 1 free throws to fail to put the game away. However, their great defense on the other end prevented D-Graded from taking advantage and EZ hung on to win 59-56. D-Graded remains winless and EZ improves to 4-2. 

D-Graded

Harry D pretty poor showing from Da Point Gawd, who went scoreless with only 1 assist 

Worth C Alex hit a few big shots but I think he should get more looks

MJ A liked what I saw from Jeffries, who was playing aggressively and hit clutch shots
DoD A went cold at times, but also had stretches where he dominated. Great defensively with 3 steals and notched double digit rebounds. 

Everything Zen
Randall C- unremarkable game from the captain
Danner B+ hit a few big shots
Murphy B+ overall a good game, but could be better from the free throw line
Scott B not a lot of production on the offensive end, but has his usual great defense
Zeng B love a little Jimmy magic

Weinstein A consistent scoring and shot efficiently
