Kicking of the playoffs was a matchup between Chas’ Shooter McGavins, who were the 3 seed, taking on 6 seed Easy Cummins. This looked like a great matchup on paper, as both teams are defined by disruptive defense and have a similar ball movement-oriented playstyle, anchored by a shooting big man and disruptive defense. Civale and Shebertes ended the season 1st and 3rd in PPG and would continue to be the focal points of their respective offenses.
Starting things off Jamie was late in arriving for EC and they started without their best two-way threat on the floor. New dad Etheridge got the first bucket and Joe and Hammond added buckets as well, with Hammond scoring off a filthy crossover. After Jamie showed up he got a layup to go but SM had built a small lead. Civale was effective anchoring the post defensively and notched 4 first half blocks. These blocks allowed EC to get out in transition and Eisenberg converted off a fast break layup. Civale was also doing work on the offensive end and was able to erase the deficit by himself. The game was back and forth for the first half, Civale hit a big 4-point play and followed it up with another 3 late in the half. Chas tied the game on a layup and as time ran out, Civale hit another 3 to take a three-point lead heading into the half. Civale led all scorrs in the half with 16.
Shebertes opened the second half with a big and-1 and a three and Etheridge was doing a great job making the right read and finding the open man for SM. Alan hit a three and had a dime to Eisenberg to tie the score at 32. SM had a big stretch with Eth and Shebertes playing a two man game on offense which led to a 7 point SM lead. Hammond added two big second half threes and Shebertes went on a heater at the right time to extend the lead to double digits. EC was never able to climb back in the game and SM cruised to a comfortable 15 point win. EC just did not get scoring from their secondary players, as Civale (30 points) was the only guy on EC to reach double figures. SM will take on Harry and Meaty Men in the semifinals
EC
Civale A big two way game, 30/12 with 6 stocks
AO C had a few nice plays but was not consistent

Chao NA limited minutes
SM

EC VS M&M “ Alan youre a firework”
EC had been struggling losing 2 straight, M&M fightig for Marlier’s honor after his injury. Civale 3 ball to kick us off, then hits fade. Clarke obrd work, Dany trey 5 all. Civale obrd, Alan middy $. France 1-2, Civale red hot high off glass, Jamie steal and take 13-6. Clarke would be a man on a mission and get 4 straight, France adds a hoop and we were tied. This game would stay within 1-2 points, very good basketball, highly entertaining. EJ gotabig 3 to go towards the half, which sparked a run, Alan J, Civale 3 and it was 41-33 at the break.
Clarke window, Dany deep 3 lead narrowed to 44-39. Dany hits another 3 suddenly it was 46-44. Eisen stop hook, but Clarke off window keeps pace. Eisn 3 , but Dany middy, France 4 straight and we were all tied 53 all. Civale 5-0 run by himself, but M&M showing good fight,as this game was super close. Alan put on his cape as he hits j but France coast to coast, Alan crazy lefty finish in transition, then Fracne makes alan fall, only to have Alan sprint to hit spot dagger 3 up,and dagger 3 good, Ec runs away 82-74.

Civale 2-2, Sydorko down hill get out fo the way for 2, then he adds 3, Stull 3 this thing was getting out of hand 25-8 this thing was ugly. Choa would provide a lift for EC as he nailed some beautiful jumpers, Jamie got a 3 to go, Civale started hitting very tough shot, Choa would add another J and suddenly it was 32-29 at the half after a huge EC run.
The run did not last, shook cutting hoop, Sydorko high off glass, Harry with a nifty drive in. Civale/Eisen tried to keep EC in it with 3’s but Sydorko/J.Mul were just too much to deal with as they cruise 66-53.

No Civale woudl take the steam out of this one………nope not at all. EJ 3 right out of the gate and we were off and running 3-0. Fasano 1-2, but Eisen 3 6-1. Fasano middy, Eisen 3, jamie runnign hoop 11-6. Lim gets a 3 ball to go, but Jamie 3 ball right back 14-6. Dias obrd put in, Liam sexy lefty float 14-11. Choa big balls J,then nails a 3 it CHOA TIME !!! Liam responds with 3, Marquis cutting basket, then Marquis steal and 2, Liam cutt for the lead 20-19. Game would stay locked in tight btween 2-4 points, Alan would hit a 3, but Fasano roll late on the clock made it 33-29 EC up at half.
Liam 3, but EJ fly by rack work, Eisen dimes acutting Alan 2x’s ina row 39-32. Liam cut and 1, but Alan fuego splashes 3.Marquis rips off a 4-0 run with obrd work, but Alan blackout nothing but the bottom of the net 3, Jamie adds sexy drive 47-39. Fasano walks in for easy 2, Liam and 1 again, Dennis window work it was just 47-46. Eisen big cutting hoop, but Dias Mr clutch nails 3 to tie it at 49 all. EJ captain 3, Jamie steal break away 2, Alan scoop it was 56-49. Laim 3, but there goes super hero Alan with a corner trey, Alan and 1 with the yell!!!!!! Liam big 3 to keep TIH in it, Fasano cut 67-61. Alan crazy high glass finish , but Dias another huge 3 for TIH. Eisen TD pass to Jamie looked like mght be the back breaker, but Dias gets roll on a middy, Liam rack, Laim to the cup again. EC has some chances to put this thing away at the line but Alan/Eisne both missed, Liam nailed all of his , and there goes Mr.Clutch Dias to tie the game and forse OT at 77 all.
EC got the huge 1st bucket of overtime which usually spells success, but Dias had other plan, as he hits another hero 3, Fasano cut made it a 3pt game, and EJ nailed another clutch 3 to tie things. Liam was fouled in a bad play by eisen where he didnt need to, Laim hits both EC misses game over, and what a amazing game this was 84-82 TIH wins.
