Kicking off week 7 was a matchup between 4-2 Shooter McGavins and 2-4 Overhated. Chas was missing Etheridge and Skelley had his whole team available. I had picked Shooters to win in this one not knowing Eth was out and missing his 14 points per game would be a challenge for SM to overcome.
Starting things off both teams were moving the ball around and getting to the free throw lines. Shebertes had a nice bucket inside with a foul and Hammond had another and-1 finish for SM. Worth had a tough and-1 for OH but Shebertes answered that with back to back three pointers. OH followed this up with a 9-0 run but Hammond responded with back to back threes and Scotty was having a great half on both ends. Both teams were unable to build a solid lead in the first half. Chas cashed out two threes and seemed poised to go into the half up 3 but Skelley hit a miracle buzzer beater to tie the game as time expired in the half. Skelley led all scorers with 13 first half points.
Coming out of the half Shebertes had some nice tough buckets in the posts and Worth had another and-1. Danner had a nice jumper and Chas was on fire from deep. Kielley and Frano, who both had quiet first halves came alive late in the 2nd half to spark Overhated. Frano had some nice mid range jumpers and Kielley was getting to the basket and free throw line. Late threes from Chas and Shebertes kept things close. With two minutes left, Overhated was up three and SM had to foul. Keilley was clutch at the free throw line and built up a solid lead. Despite another late Chas 3, Overhated hung on to secure a much needed win heading into the stretch run.
Shooters
Chas A Chas was lighting it up from deep (5/6) and generating steals
Eloi C+ had some nice moments, but scoring was down from last week
Shebertes B+ did a great job getting to the free throw line
Hammond B+ big first half, but cooled off
Danner B nice mid range jumper and some heady plays
OverHated
Kielley A- slow first half but played extremely well in the clutch
Skelley A did his best on defense and had some nice post buckets
Frano B slow game back after missing the previous 3 weeks, but made big plays when it counted
Worth A great job shooting in the mid post and getting to the free throw line
Peteet C had a few too many turnovers
Gilles B couldn’t get a bucket to fall, but was good on defense with 3 stocks

BMMSM VS Overhated “ Overhated was deflated”
No J.Mul fro team harry and Overhate waas missing champion stud Gilles. Glynn hustling early gets obrd 3 ball, Harry smooth stroke 3 6-0. Kielley to tack, Frano 2-2, but Sydokro dimes Shook on cut to stop the run, Shook 2-2 1-4. Worth 2-2, but Stull big balls 3, he liekd that so much how about another 3 ball splash 19-6. BMMSM really dominated the 1st half, and looked like Overhate had no answers, Harry added another 3, Glynn also in on the 3 party it was 34-22 and not looking good for Overhate at the half.
Overhate would not quit, Frano fade, Worth window, Frano obd put in 34-28. Shook middy, Sydorko 3 breaks up run, but Worth got hot from 3 after his 3rd in a row it made this a new ball game at 40-36. This is when Sydorko got very very hot, was hitting step back Harding treys, he would hit 4 in the 2nd half, Stull, Glynwould add 3’s and they run away without their number 1 pick 64-47.
BMMSM
Sydroko-A- Dude a straight baller and winner. Paint is lockdown, and he adds 3’s/drives/leadership
Shook-B-Solid game, would love to see him hit a 3 but he was effective everywhere else.
Stull-A-)- Great 3pt %
Glynn-B-) Not a ton of stats but I love the heart/passion of this stud!
Harry-A- Coaching A, he knew just how to attack Overhate, and made the agem evry tough on them.
Overhate
Worth-B- Good 2nd half scoring but hes got to get his team to play better D.
Skelley-D- Oh boy he will have better days.
Frano-B-) Much better int he 2nd half they need him to be way more aggressive.
Kielley-C+- Hustled had but 0-6 from 3, and struggled on D.
peteet-B- Thought he played his role well, solid player.

Week 5 opened with a good matchup between OverHated 2.0 and Easy Cummins. Both teams entered the week at 2-2, both driven by early season MVP level campaigns from Worth and Civale, respectively. EC was missing caption EJ and Overhated was missing a key piece in Frano.
EC was running like a well oiled machine to start the game, making multiple passes on each possession and cutting well off ball to the hoop. Alan hit a three after a few missed layups, and Jamie got a nice bucket and a foul. Overhated came roaring back with 7 straight, led by Keilley. Civale was on a mission in the first half, scoring from all levels and it was evident that Oeerhated was missing Frano’s defensive presence. EC was playing great defense and generated 7 takeaways midway through the first half, led by Alan. Civale continued his strong first half en route to a 41-25 lead at the break.
Both teams traded buckets in the second half but Overhated was able to close the gap somewhat thanks to a solid stretch of play by Kielley, who scored 9 early second half points. Overhated was able to close the gap to 10 with Civale on the bench, but as soon as he checked back in he hit a three and hit a great full court pass to a streaking Cummins for a nice transition play. Overhated got into foul trouble late and EC was in the bonus with 4 minutes left. This limited OH’s ability to get back in the game and EC held on to win 68-58. Great fight from Overhated to close the deficit in the 2nd half, but ultimately it was not enough.
Easy Cummins
Civale A+ excellent game from Brian, efficient shooting and grabbed a ton of boards
Cummins A solid all-around game, JC is a really nice two way player
Eisenberg B quiet on offense but played great defense with 3 steals
Alan A missed layups aside, AO was awesome distributing the ball and generating turnovers on defense
Chao C limited minutes
Overhated
Kielley A great game, too bad it came in a loss
Skelley B+ good day scoring in the paint (Civale effect?) and grabbing boards
Gilles C+ hit a three but not much else
Worth D down game, 0fer from 3
Peteet C hustled hard

Overhate VS Jimsanity “ Slow start, explosive response”
No Lahigh, no Jake as attendance has killed Jimsanity as of late, this one was set up to be ugly. Matty O had other plans as he drains 3, then why not how about another, Matty baseline J thats 8 straight 8-0!!. Skelley window, Kielley 3, but Joey to rack, Joey trey, Matty spin shot, Joey hard to the cup, Joey 3 holy fuck, Zeng J it was a shocking 25-5. Worth finally gets on the board with 2-2, Kielley cutting hoop, then he adds 3, but Matty calms thins with drive down the lane 27-12. Kielley slashes in, Gilles finds his spots and nails a 3, Kielley 3, Kielley sick block leads to Skelley lay in, but some Zeng magic , and Randal drains bigtime 3 it was 32-22 at the half.
Worth J to start the half, Gilles cut, Kielley obrd Overhate put their foot on the gas. Peteet J 32 all. Joey not done breaks tie with drive, Worth 3, Worth hang shot, peteet J, gilles 3 the floods gates were fully opened , they would run away 65-50. Worth with 19 2nd half points, and they took it home.
Jimsanity
Joey-A+- I dont know how he was suppsoed to play better. Balls to the wall, almost pulled off the huge upset
Matty-B+- Started off so hot, but got tired a bit, still a strong night on both ends.
Rich-C- No 3’s but 40 min and they had a real chance to win.
Zeng-B-) Hustled , was flying aroudn doing some magical things.
Overhate
Worth-A-) 2nd half was def MVP level, dude took the whole game over.
Keilley-A-) Very steady, level headed, theyw ere down but he kept taking good shots , and was huge in the comback.
Skelley-B-)good rebounds /assists, could use some more hoops.
Gilles-A-) Rock solid bench prafromance
Peteet-B- great passing , hit some nice shots in the 2nd half.

Overhate VS M&M
Was good to see Dany back at it after the ankle and M&M was fully sqauded. Overhate was missing Champion Gilles. Kielley 3 to get us rolling, then converts cut 5-0. Clarke cutting basket, France J, France 1-2 all tied up at 5. Frano J, Dany 2-2. Worth 1-1, Hanks runner, Dany window, Marler J 13-9 edge for M&M. Worth 3, adn a Peteet tip in and they were back in it 16 all. Dany breaks tie with window work, but sexy Kielley up n under ties it again. This was a highly competitive game both teams matching each oher well we were knotted at 26 all, the 1st half solved nothing.
Dany rack, but Skelley continues tos tale mate with cutting hoop 28 all. Game would stay withi 1-2 point as both teams were getting consistent buckets. Overhate pulled ahead with Frano off glass, but France lighting coast to coast. Peteet big time drive, Worth 3 5-44. Dan would sub back in and rip 0ff 8 straight points , givng his team the 52-50 edge! Skelley huge post hoop to tie thighs. Worth 2-2, France middy to tie things at 54. Dany 1-2 for the lead but Frano wide opn on bad defense gets an easy 2, and ft’s put them away as Hanks could not convert a hectic last shot attempt 58-55 Overhate gets 1st win.
Overhate
Worth-A-) Playing great basketball, 100% mvp contender
Kielley-B+- Much better in the 1st half, but his energy was so positive.
Frano-B-) He was good, butrebounding numbers were low though
Skelley-C+- Awful ft shooting but saves his day with some clutch hoops.
Peteet-B- Love this mans game, He doesn't need stats to make an impact.
M&M
Dany-A-) Tried tot ake over, but I think he needs to be selfish on thai team, should be taking 15 3’s per game.
France-C- Not his best he should be scoring 20+ in this league, and on this team.
Hanks-D- my buddy didnt have it today.
Clarke- C+- Not his best, but loved 4-4 from the stripe.
Hurst-B-) Not as many stats but I thought he played better. Made good choices the ball just would not go in.
