Yolo for Volo took control of the game early on, using crisp ball movement, well-executed pick-and-rolls, and unselfish team play to dictate the pace. Their offensive execution kept the Unreliables scrambling on defense, while their relentless pressure led to numerous steals, creating easy transition opportunities. Trent Hall once again caught fire, knocking down shots from all over the court and fueling Yolo for Volo’s dominant first half.

In the second half, a collision between Trent and John from the Unreliables forced both players out of the game, momentarily shifting the momentum. However, Yolo for Volo never wavered, maintaining their grip on the game with disciplined play and continued defensive intensity. Even without their hot hand, they stuck to their game plan, moved the ball efficiently, and controlled the tempo until the final buzzer. The Unreliables struggled to find a rhythm, and Yolo for Volo walked away with a convincing victory.

In a hard-fought game between the Unreliables and Yolo for Volo, Trent Hall of Yolo for Volo put on a strong shooting display, hitting several key three-pointers to keep his team in the game. Despite his valiant effort from beyond the arc, Yolo for Volo struggled with consistency on both ends of the court. The Unreliables played solid defense and capitalized on turnovers, maintaining a steady lead throughout the game.

Although Hall's shooting kept Yolo for Volo within striking distance, the Unreliables' overall team play and offensive efficiency proved too much to overcome. In the end, the Unreliables secured the victory, with Yolo for Volo unable to make up the gap despite Hall’s impressive individual performance.

Our 8:05 game at MLK featured Balls Deep vs. Yolo for Volo. A lot of this game was just Mike (Yolo) and Robbie (Balls) running up and down the court seeing who could miss the most threes, but you can’t hate a guy for getting his shots up! Combined they went 5-25 on field goals in the first half. Thankfully Mike got some support from a few guys, most notably Trent who threw in a team-high 8 in the first half on 4 attempts. Robbie didn’t get as much support on his side of the ball, but Joe was able to assemble a 6-point half to keep Balls Deep within striking distance, down 19-26 at the half. Balls Deep has a GLARING problem while watching and even on the stat sheet—they don’t pass the ball? Joe was the only player to log an assist with 2, and that’s in-line with how their offense looked throughout the game. Get some movement out there fellas.

Yolo would turn it on in the 2nd, with pretty much everyone dropping 3s as Balls Deep was looking for answers. Outside of a lone Peter bucket, Joe and Robbie did all the scoring in half two, with the rest of the team going 1-11 from the field. Tough day at the office for Balls. Jordan and Jason got a few garbage buckets to fall inflating the lead, but they both played well before that as well. Trent continued his good shooting, ending the night 5-8 from deep, with he and Mike each pocketing 50 cents from their dimes. Yolo takes it 69-44.
