8:45 – Dads vs. YGL
No Chas, no JMul for YGL in this one, but Lerner was back! He looked a little rusty, but not bad for playing 40 straight off an injury. Cawley and Oullette played very well for the Dads in the first half, keeping them within reach. The big shock for me in this one was a steep drop in Barbour’s efficiency. Everyone has off-games, but Kap was doing a good job staying in front of him, and Barbour just couldn’t get the shots to fall. Lerner was in the same boat, but again, fresh off a skiing catastrophe. Walker and Wise both got some big man buckets, while Kap and Buckley really struggled to score (1-16 combined in 1H). YGL held a narrow margin at the break, 32-27.
LeBlanc started HOT in the second half, giving the Dads their first lead since very early in this one. He started 3/3 from deep, Kap hit a three, and Oully & Cawley would both connect as well. Before we knew what was happening, the Dads had a commanding lead with 10 to play! Barbour and Lerner just couldn’t get anything going down the stretch here—I’m sure the late game & no subs played into this but it was rough. If it wasn’t for Buckley (8 late points), this could’ve been a blowout.
Dads hit most of their FTs down the stretch and take this one in upset fashion, 64-55.
Kap – 7-3-5, 0-1 2PT, 1-13 3PT, 4-4 FT
LeBlanc – 11-7-6, 1-1 2PT, 3-8 3PT
Oullette – 19-8-2, 4 BLK, 5-12 2PT, 3-6 3PT, 0-1 FT
Cawley – 19-8-1, 3 BLK, 5-10 2PT, 2-2 3PT, 3-4 FT
Wise – 8-8-1, 4-5 2PT
Barbour – 19-9-2, 6-18 2PT, 2-9 3PT, 1-2 FT
Lerner – 6-20 2PT, 1-5 3PT, 1-1 FT
Buckley – 10-7-1, 5-14 2PT
Walker – 10-14-2, 5 STL, 5-11 2PT

Goat shit Dad Season VS MOH “ Brett goes into siko mode!”
Cawley sexy drive to get us started, Cell 2-2 to tie it, then he bullys in for 2, then adds a steal and finish he was flying around 6-2. Kap draws foul 2-2 6-4. There goes Cell again they cant stop him 8-4. Leblanc connects on a 3, Cell bulldozes through for another 2, but Oully fianlly gets on the board with a J, after he hits a 3 it was all tied at 12. Oully wet 3, Cell responds with obrd put in, Oulley and 1 back n forth we went, Cell crazy finsih with arms all over him, then he fkys in for 2 more, make matchup ajustment DADs!! Oully red hot himself connects on another jimmy 20-10 lead, but Joel gets a 3 to go, Kap with the captain 3 to fight back, but the unstoppbale man does more unstoppable things as he rips off a 4-0 run, to make things worse for the Dad’s is that brett was getting hot, he would hit 2 late 3’s, and they woudl gain the 39-33 edge at the break.
Cell not slowing down gets cutting hoop, Leblanc stays with the play and gets 2, kap deep 3 41-40 MOH. Brett sharp cut, and hoop, but Oully 3 made it a new game 43 all. Cawley crazy tip in shot for the lead 45-43. Brett 3, but Oully 2-2 to get the lead back. Cell 1-2, Brett steal finish, Brett cut, Pulley 3 where he got the roll, but that was as fortunate as it got for Goat, as Brett would blow thier doors off as he would rip off 4 more 3’s , Joel would add steals, and hoops, and MOH ran away 75-66.
Goat
Kap-B- Thought he was much better, but has to change the plan when Cell/Brett is killing them.
Cawley-C+- Seemed like he had way more points, where is my beautiful midrange ?
Leblanc-C- Much better in the 2nd half, but I always expect more from him.
Oully-B+- Cooled off in the 2nd half, but his scoring kept them in it.
Wise-D- Not very impactful, thought he rushed things as well.
MOH
Cell-A-) Slowed down in the 2nd half, but this man is a straight savage
Joel-B-Very effective in the 2nd half, was frustrated but never stopped playing hard adding 3 steal, and 2 blocks.
Mulv-C- hustled hard, but basket had a lid on it.
Brett-A- Holy lord this man was a walking fireball, net didnt even move on some of those 2nd half 3’s.

8:45 Goat Shit Dads v. Don’t Be Stupid
I won’t give a walkthrough of the game as it was a blowout from the get-go, so I’ll just go through my overall thoughts on what I saw out there.
Both of these teams excel at passing and finding the open man, but DBS does a much better job off-ball and getting to open spots while the Dads rely on picks to get them open; this is fine if the defense doesn’t play it well, but DBS is a pretty good defensive team. We saw a lot of contested inside shots not fall for Cawley in particular, and it looked like the only one moving without the ball to find a spot was LeBlanc, albeit he chose his moments. Oullette showed good efficiency from both a high post and coming off screens on the perimeter (per usual).
Keith looked especially spry for DBS. Jamil had a friendly whistle for him and he got to the line 10 times, but he scored 20 without the FTs. Stuffed the stat sheet and was a very good inside presence for DBS.
Harding had STUPID efficient tonight, check the lines below. Since I’ve been keeping track of shot attempts, I’m pretty sure this is the best line we’ve seen in 2 seasons. For the interested parties, 33 points on 18 shots and 3 FTA is an 85.4 TS% and a eFG%.
DBS had 22 assists as a team and the Dads had 18, so it was a great game to watch. If Kap wasn’t so damn rusty we could’ve had a game on our hands, but he clearly isn’t back to 100% or have his legs back yet.
DBS won this one from the jump, 78-67 in a late cover (+14.5) for the Dads. Keith easily hit the over for his 3PM/AST/BLK (7.5) with 10; he had 8 at half.
Cawley: 15-7-3, 4-13 2PT, 2-3 3PT, 1-1 FT
Kap: 5-3-4, 1-1 2PT, 1-11 3PT

Gshit:Dad season VS Team Robell “ Darth Leblanc slays Robel Jedi’s”
Team Robel missing Pang to start this game things were stacked agaisnt them. Oully middy, Leblanc 1-2, Jacobson slips defender, Leblanc J yikes it was 7-0 quick. Stull gets fouled shooting 3 hits 2-3, but Jacobson looking spry flys in for another 2 9-2. Cam middy, cam blow by lay in, Stull 3 ball for the 10-9 lead. Wise ripped the lead back with a p n roll hoop, Leblanc J, VJ sexy drive to the cup, Robel dimes up VJ for the 14-13 edge. Oulley finally gets a 3 to go, Kap gets his 1st hoop with a drive18-14. Stull great pass to Robel, Jacobson cutting basket, leblanc drive, leblanc 3, Jacobson slash great end to the half for GS 27-18.
Oulley 3 not looking good. Robel pounds th post, Cam 1-2, VJ nice glass work 31-23. Leblanc was a consistent threat hits another 3. Lead woud stay extened to the 10-12 range, Robel would start to get busy in the post and I saw some life for this team, it caused Dads to overhelp and Cam was able to get good clean looks making the score 49-42, but thats as close as it got. Gshit 2 wins in a row building momentum. 57-48.
Gshit
Kap-C-) good D but notenough hoops/assists for me.
Leblanc-A- Very good, steady and effective throughout the 40 min.
Oully-B-) Not his best but he will take the w all day.
Jacobson-C+- Started so well, but kinda faded. Keep cutting my guy!
Wise–C+- He was ok, thoought hed have more impact that game.
Team Robel
Cam-A-) For a guy who filled in and covered Harding for a full 40 min, I though he brought so much energy and effort to this game. Kid is a gem we dont deserve.
VJ-B- Nice spark for them, I want him to be even more aggressive!
Stat-C-) Was not a good stat game, thought he had mismatches he did not exploit.
Stull-B- Bright spot, passed well, has 2 steals.
Robel-B-) Tale of 2 halves 0-5 from 3 , zero pints then got it going inthe post and was much better in the 2nd. Liked the 3 dimes as well.
