In a thrilling match between the Clever Trevors and Commando, it was Clever Trevors who emerged victorious with a narrow 56-53 win. Despite Commando showcasing great team basketball in the first half, the Clever Trevors were resilient. Led by Jack Fay's outstanding 25 points, the game saw Commando leading for most of the match. However, as the clock wound down and tension mounted, the Clever Trevors made a stunning comeback in the final moments. With a scoring drought affecting Commando and clutch free throws from Jack Fay, the Clever Trevors snatched the win in an intense finish.

A very close game to kick us off with Commando coming away with a nail-biting victory against Tufts Elders 63-62. This game was close from beginning to end with some big shots on both sides before Commando clinched it in the end. These are two of the most evenly matched teams we’ve seen so looking forward to a potential rematch.
For Commando they were led by Luke with 19 pts 3 boards 2 asts. He had a nice combination of slicing to the rim and keeping the defense honest with the three ball. He was joined by Max with 17 pts on some tough drives and lockdown defense to go with a clutch three down the stretch. Additional shoutout to Bryant with some fierce rebounds finishing with 8 pts 9 boards.
For Tufts they were led by David C who was on fire from downtown with 18 pts 3 asts 2 boards on 6/10 from deep. He was joined by Jack with a great all around game of 11 pts 6 boards 3 asts on 3/4 from deep playing efficiently throughout. Additional shoutout to Christopher with 8 pts 2 boards 2 asts and some great ball movement. Looking forward to them rebounding next week.

Game Recap: The Steb Backs 54, Commando 45
The Steb Backs pulled off a gritty 54-45 win over Commando in a hard-fought battle. After a tight first half, The Steb Backs found their rhythm in the second, thanks to a dominant performance from Mike Allen, who was unstoppable in the paint. Allen imposed his will down low, finishing through contact and cleaning up second-chance opportunities to help his team take control.
Max Heinrich also came up clutch from beyond the arc, going a perfect 2-for-2 from three in the second half, stretching the defense and keeping Commando at bay. Commando fought to stay in it, but The Steb Backs' second-half execution proved to be the difference as they secured the win.
MVP: Mike Allen
