It ‘s the playoffs and people still don’t understand that your team looses points for every person that doesn’t have a CaC shirt; as Byron looks over and see them winning but thinks the score is wrong. Mike finally makes a three after a great pass from Colin and it starts a 11– 0 run and finally Cash Slinging calls a time out as frustrations mount. Cash Slinging comes out of the half with another 10 – 0 run and now Consigli is down twenty-seven points. Just when you thought Consigli was going to score Sean blocks the ball and they are off to the races the other way. Number zero (Sorry can’t read the chicken scratch) for Consigli finally hits a three and it would be the second time tonight he would end a run for Cash Slinging. This one got away from Consigli in the second half and they could not recover.

Both these teams are pretty evenly matched, and it comes down to who is going to play the better defense and control the boards. In the early going shots are flying but not much is going down for either team from deep. Nice spin move by Sean and gets the foul called on Alex but was unable to complete the three point play after missing his free throw. Nazgul found themselves down seven points with ten minutes left in the first half, so they call time out. Mike of Cash Slinging is out for blood showing he’s not afraid of any shot as he is 3 for 5 from downtown. After Carlo gets murdered and no call is made Joe travels and then walks out of bounds thinking a call was made but it’s a turnover. He then makes the call for the ref calling out Mike for the personal as if it takes about the turnover on him, but it doesn’t.  You can tell Joe was the class clown in school as after a dead ball three-point attempt, he gets called for the delay of game and says to the ref it was worth it because the next shot will be going in laughing going down the court. Nobody stops the ball and for Cash Slinging and Mark takes full advantage of it twice going the length of the court and getting easy layups. Sean is filling up the stat sheet and Anthony has had enough of it gets caught holding him in what you can only call a bear hug preventing him from scoring another layup sending him to the line. Down by 14 points it’s not looking good for Nazgul again tonight as they couldn’t get their defense together. Just as I count them out with two minutes left, they go on a shooting spree from deep when Corey and Mark hit three and make a couple of tough layups to take a one-point lead. They leave too much time on the clock as Sean (who has been killing them all night) gets the ball and make a midrange floater with no time left for a one-point win.

If NNHS has any chance at winning this game they are going to have to do a better job at playing defense on Colin as the boy is murdering the low post and finishing better then most. I need people like Spencer on my team so when I go zero for whatever and one of them is an airball he can tell me to keep shooting as he did with Jackson. Philp is having a terrible time at the line as both his attempts after and1’s never touch iron causing violations. Finally getting on the board Grant gets the rebound and goes coast to coast for a tough layup. After a couple of bad coaching decisions by both teams in the closing seconds of the first half we go into halftime 28 to 29 Cash Slinging Slashers with the lead. Lazy pass by Cash team leads to Philp getting a steal and fouled by Sean but Philp is still struggling from the line now 0 for 4. Alex of NNHS has a shot like Slow Mo (Kyle Anderson) use to have when he was with the Timberwolves. He fixed his form now that he is playing for Golden State for this upcoming season. NNHS has appeared to run out of gas in the closing two minutes taking terrible shots and turn the ball over and they fall 54 to 66.
