Game hasn’t started yet and told Nick of Davis Hoops I expect big things from him tonight and he of course opens the game with a tough layup and then nice assist to Kevin. That was followed by a three-pointer getting the ref to yell’s it’s your night. Corey has finally found his shooting stroke again making three early threes. Mark is showing he is a problem for Davis Hoops on the boards as he leads his team in this category to start. Nazgul has too many guys in my opinion to get any kind of continuity but they will have to make it work if they plan on getting the win. Nick’s confidence is threw the roof right now as he is pulling up looking off his teammates and knocking down threes. Kevin had a monster game last week but has yet to make his imprint on this one.
Gus has active hands getting two steals but gets caught with his hands in the cookie jar trying to defend Jono. Corey nails another three to pull his team to within five points and is haven’t a much better game then the last couple of outings. Nice spin move and bucket for Elliot getting a foul called on Austin but he would airball the foul shot. Very nice bounce pass from Elliot to Mark thru the middle of the defense gets two points. Nice pass to the corner from Asher to Anthony but Anthony fails to shoot the ball resulting in a three second call on his team. Gus picks up all four fouls in the second half and has to take a seat. Nick gets fouled on a tough move to the hoop but is struggling from the line and his team needs all those points if they are going to pull this one out with the score currently 53 to 56 Davis Hoops with 3 minutes left in the game. Nazgul has no choice but to attempt a full court press down eight points with less than a minute left in the game but it back fires as Davis Hoops throws a Celtic long pass to Austin who gets a and1 called on Mark trying to go for the block. Davis Hoops escape with a six point win 60 to 66.

It’s the playoff’s, that means that players you haven't seen in weeks will be showing up as is the case for Bet the Over’s Andrew who is killing Nazgul on the boards to begin the game. We are already up to five fouls and Sam hasn’t even entered the game yet so one and one will soon be coming for Nazgul. I couldn’t even get these words out before we seen a Sam foul followed by a Ben foul and now Nazgul is at the line for One and one. Nazgul is going to need Mark to be superman because the rest of his team is not giving him any help. Andrew bricks one off the backboard and it goes in and of course Sam yells from the bench, the bank is open. The first half is done and Nazgul find themselves down 18 to 30 and in need of a shot in the arm from someone not named Mark. Corey would usually have had two three’s by now but he only has one attempt at this point. Anthony finally sees one go down and it cuts the lead to ten. Brian encouraged Alex to shoot the three and after several jab steps he does just that sending an airball into the stage area. With eight minutes left this one is not over for Nazgul yet they still can come back only down eleven, but they need stops. Carlo finally makes a three and it’s now under ten after Mark gets a tough layup to go. Then Carlo hit’s Corey for his second three of the night and it’s a ball game again Nazgul down only four points. Someone said something to Corey at half because he is playing like a man possessed. Nazgul see their first lead of the night (well since the start of the game) and it comes with less than three minutes to go in the game. With Bet the Over failing to get stops and not able to put the ball in the ocean they are watching their season come to an end. Bet the Over would have no choice but to play the foul game, and it’s failing miserably. Anthony gets a steal in the closing seconds to cap the game off making a meaningless layup

Last game of the night and regular season and it might be over before it get’s started with Bye Week at a huge disadvantage offensively. Bye week has made a executive decision that they are going to play zone against Nazgul and it is paying off so far with Nazgul missing most of it’s shots from deep. Cory can’t buy a three so far in this game and B. Murphy is putting in huge shots after missing his first three attempts. Though he came late Thai is like the spark plug for his team and is the most vocal which is just what Bye week needs. It helps Bye week as well having Tyler having the best game I’ve seen this season knocking in 3 threes so far and we still have four minutes left in the first half. This one has not gone nowhere near what I expected with Nazgul down 39 to 25 at the half. From the jump Bye week has pressured Nazgul into some terrible shots and Nazgul had no problem taking them. To be fair Cory missed a lot of wide open ones tonight and no one could have predicted that going zero for seven from deep. We still have another half to play but it’ don’t appear to be getting but because they can’t stop anyone on the defensive. All I can say is Wow Bye Week has figured out the recipe for success against the power house Nazgul team just by sitting in that zone forcing them to take threes that (for tonight) are not going in. It’s crazy but this one is just about over and there is still little less than nine minutes left, but Nazgul is down nineteen and need a miracle to come back. Mark needed to take over the game more for Nazgul and he just never got the ball enough. A couple of baskets by Karthile and Mark finally getting the ball in sweet spot got the score to within eight points. Bye week found every possible way to give this one away in the end but got enough stops to escape with the win. Nazgul took way too long to get their defense set and failed to get the win tonight.

Carlo was looking like he was going to get a triple double in the first half and nobody was putting a body on him. Mark came late to the game but immediately put his stamp on the game making his trademark reverse layup. Seeing the game get more hellta Skelta Paul calls time out for Clever Trevor imploring his team to be more patience. Jason had the hustle play of the night stealing a court pass Mark tried and then scoring an easy layup. This must have made Nazgul pretty upset as the next two possessions were three’s by Carlo and Anthony. Paul makes his sky hook to bring his team to within five points. Paul yelling at his team telling them let’s hold for the last shot is ignored by Ed who makes and1 on Carlo. Speaking of Carlo he has cooled off tremendously not seeing the ball go in and then gets his second foul for and second and1 call against Ed. Paul is having one of his worst shooting night of the season and he knows it looking very frustrated. Who is guarding Mark tonight because he is killing Clever Trever leading his team in points with twenty. Clever Trever has a hard time understanding who to foul in the closing minutes, sending Mark and Carlo to the line instead of fouling Eamon who at least missed one from the line already.
