Hot start for Matt knocking down consecutive three-point buckets making it look like NNHS would run away with this one early.  Spencer is digging deep into his bag, dishing out three quick assists and crashing the boards easily getting put backs. He is a problem and Bye week recognizes this as well which leads to their first time out of the half. Though he would go to the line and air ball a free throw as well as miss the second one (should the game plan have been put him on the line?) Rob knocks down a nice three after side stepping his defender, but they are going to need a lot more of this kind of play from him if they want to win this one. Spencer gets called for a three second call and questioned why it didn’t reset but this only happens on shot attempts. Murphy is shooting from deep (0-5) but not making anything early and just might need to do something different if he’s to help his team win. The half is almost over and one of Bye Weeks’ most prolific scores (Mike Q.) hasn’t scored a point yet and this is not a good sign if you’re a Bye week fan. Of course, soon as I write this Mike Q. makes back-to-back shot’s one of which is a three pointer. Murphy starts off the second half as he did the first, missing three-point shots. Guess it’s good to see he doesn’t lack confidence at all. Someone must have said something to Mike Q because I know he is not reading this yet but he came out in the second half Ballin. Vu was battling for the offensive rebound with Spencer catching the worst of it getting hit in his face and needing a sub. Back-to-back steals for Mike Q would only produce two points but it’s got to be demoralizing for NNHS. Murphy finally get’s one to fall from deep and it couldn’t have come at a better time for Bye week as they take a one-point lead. This would not last long though because Spencer would find Matt in the corner for back-to-back three’s forcing Bye week to call it’s final time out. Murphy makes his second three of the night bringing his team to within three points with less than two minutes left in the game. Next time down it would be an airball for Murphy sending the ball to the stage. On a night where you must play great defense It was just way to much leaving Matt open for three and this was the down fall for Bye weeks chances on advancing to the next round.

Last game of the night and regular season and it might be over before it get’s started with Bye Week at a huge disadvantage offensively. Bye week has made a executive decision that they are going to play zone against Nazgul and it is paying off so far with Nazgul missing most of it’s shots from deep. Cory can’t buy a three so far in this game and B. Murphy is putting in huge shots after missing his first three attempts. Though he came late Thai is like the spark plug for his team and is the most vocal which is just what Bye week needs. It helps Bye week as well having Tyler having the best game I’ve seen this season knocking in 3 threes so far and we still have four minutes left in the first half. This one has not gone nowhere near what I expected with Nazgul down 39 to 25 at the half. From the jump Bye week has pressured Nazgul into some terrible shots and Nazgul had no problem taking them. To be fair Cory missed a lot of wide open ones tonight and no one could have predicted that going zero for seven from deep. We still have another half to play but it’ don’t appear to be getting but because they can’t stop anyone on the defensive. All I can say is Wow Bye Week has figured out the recipe for success against the power house Nazgul team just by sitting in that zone forcing them to take threes that (for tonight) are not going in. It’s crazy but this one is just about over and there is still little less than nine minutes left, but Nazgul is down nineteen and need a miracle to come back. Mark needed to take over the game more for Nazgul and he just never got the ball enough. A couple of baskets by Karthile and Mark finally getting the ball in sweet spot got the score to within eight points.  Bye week found every possible way to give this one away in the end but got enough stops to escape with the win. Nazgul took way too long to get their defense set and failed to get the win tonight.

Before the game has started Tyler promised to have a better game than last week and it has already started off better with me being able to read his writing and him getting the numbers right. John of Nazgul decided to help out a short-handed Bet the over team but back in the day this would never happen because nobody would ever want to help another team win in the same division. The ref had to inform John that at half time he was done because it was way too close to the playoffs but then the ref had a change of heart and let him stay. Bye Week is leaving Brian open, and he is making them pay for it by knocking down the three. The game has gotten a little chippy and seems like everyone is barking at the refs and they are not happy with it. Don’t think they realize that it’s not like the pros where you might some leniency and get a call on the next one. Sam gets his fourth foul and gets subbed out and Bet the Over is not ready for the inbound pass and get caught sleeping as Mike get’s a easy layup. Alex of Bet the over is hustling his ass off getting every loose ball and this is keeping their double digit lead intact. In the end It was too much Brian and Jason for Bye Week to handle especially with Mike of Bye week being their highest scorer with sixteen points.

If your playing for Bye week you don’t want Tyler signing you in because he has no idea what the numbers should be for anyone having to revise the sheet several time and still getting Thai and Leo’s wrong. Though Tyler can’t write for shit he has no problems getting up three pointers, but it was the making part that he had trouble with (going one of his first four from distance) in the first half. Thai needs no warmup coming off the bench and making his first shot that was from three and everyone from Bye week wondering who is guarding him. Though Mike of Bye Week started the game slow but came on strong in the second half seven points in four minutes of play. Telfort surprised the hell out of me after taking a couple of jab steps and knocking down a three. It’s been a really quiet night for Alex who usually has put his imprint on the game by now and just as I’m writing this he pulls up and hits his midrange for his first two points of the game. It’s really anyone’s game tonight with both teams taking the others best punch. Bye Week takes the win by five after NNHS struggles to make a bucket in the closing three minutes of the game letting Mike close them out from the line.

Game hasn’t started yet and Clever Trevor finds themselves down four points due to no CaC jersey’s and it may cost them the game, but we will see how everything shakes out. The only one from their original roster is Ed and Paul and the rest of these dudes look like they got picked up from the YMCA. Down nine points halfway through the first half and this is already a disaster for Clever Trevor, and I don’t see how they dig their way out of this one. Already in the one and one this is the only saving grace for Clever Trevor so they must take advantage of this to comeback. Sean of Clever Trevor owns the boards on both ends of the court and this might be a way back into the game. Down by nineteen with twenty seconds left in the half Paul calls time out after he sees Deshawn get trapped. We really don’t need another half of this to know that Clever Trevor is going night-night and needs a miracle to get the dub. Sean has three fouls and Clever Trevor can’t to let him foul out of this one. Coming into the game Thai said that his team hasn’t won a game yet and this is definitely the game they needed to get off the snide. Ed had a nice block that he didn’t have to get off the ground to get. Clever Trevor made a late push to close the gap to ten points but they should have been playing this hard nose defense the whole game so they loose 59 to 49.
