It’s playoff time and it’s win or go home and there is definitely no crying to the refs. about blown calls. This time in the season we all should know there will be a couple of calls missed. Rim Ticklers open up with a twelve to four run behind a quick start from Garrett’s eight points. After a couple more blown possessions for Clever Trevor they had seen enough so time out was called. This must have woke up Tony because he would go on a nice shooting spree from downtown that had Rim Ticklers entire team scratching their heads. Even Paul hit a three and he usually never shoots from that range, electing to do most of his damage in the post or mid-range. If Rim Ticklers are going to be competitive they will need a lot of point production from Drew and something from Jeff or Dainis who seem to be missing in most games lately. Later in the game Jeff has seen a couple go down from deep and this is desperately needed and should help him get his groove back because Ticklers are falling behind now because Tony has picked up where he left off in the first half. Jason is letting it fly and seems unconscious from deep knocking down four helping his team maintain the lead. Paul muscles Dainis and gets the and1 called against him pushing the lead to ten and this forces a time out called from Rim Ticklers. This wouldn’t matter much though as they let Tony (30 points) and Jason (22 points) do them in going down 68 to 57

Looks like Trevor has gone out and recruited some ringers to finish the season, but their struggles continue to mount seeing themselves down eighteen to five and need to use first time out. I’m not sure if Brian was trying to be funny when he tells G (New guy for Trevors team) if you want a tip, you can drive on me every time?? Paul picks up his third personal foul and is in jeopardy of fouling out. Paul must have switched up foul shot form because I have never seen him step into the foul shots before. When the game first started all, you heard from Trevor and everyone else on the team after a miss was great shot keep shooting but now they are down nearly twenty points you now hear slow the ball down and swing it as they try to buy a bucket but can’t. Trevor Clever is currently getting out worked on both ends of the floor as they try to slow down Ben but are failing miserably. I’m going to assume this kid G can shoot because Trevor continues to give him the ball, but he just can’t seem to make a three tonight. To add insult to the already injured Jason misses a uncontested layup at the rim but they get lucky with G making his first of the night on a loose ball kick out. They say all you need to do is see one go in and the basket looks a lot bigger, and I see that works for G and Jason as they both start the second half making shots from deep. This would force Bet the Over to call it’s first time out of the night. Paul tells his team it’s four minutes left and to D up but fails to stop his man Ben as he drives to the hoop for a uncontested layup. Things start to fall apart for Clever Trevor in the closing minutes not being able to put one in from deep and gave Bet the Over the win by seven points 50 to 57.

Clever Trevor hit the ground running knocking down their first three shots that were from beyond the three-point line. Back-to-back turnovers by Clever Trevor trying to get the ball into Luke is putting a damper on their quick start. Freddie gets the Johnny be lately tag today getting to the guy with half of the first gone already. It’s a good thing he showed up though as his teammates need him and his offense as they sit on a six-point deficit. John of Clever Trevor always seems to be in the right place at the right time as he gets passes on the baseline for easy layups. Danny is having a monster first half making shots from three with one of them coming off the backboard (Don’t think he called that one thou). Ted is in foul trouble with three first half fouls and will need to be careful not to foul out as they need him on the boards. The second half is underway and it’s a brick city party, but Danny of The Bears was able to match threes with Tony of Clever Trevor. Freddy is a prime example of what happens when you come to the gym late and don’t get warmed up as he is not himself missing some open shots he would normally make. Jason spits on the court to get more grip on his sneakers and the ref calls him out on it saying we don’t do that here!!! Ted gets his shot since back to him by Ed and could easily be called a jump ball as it was stuff pretty good. Aribo makes up for a terrible pass to the post that get stolen with a nice steal of his own over playing his man. Tony calls a foul on himself after whacking Danny in his face. On the road to a come back by Aribo doesn’t appear down with that plan as he hoists up a three and Danny tells him we need to get a good one. The lesson is still not learned in this one for The Bears as they fall again 56 to 45 to Clever Trevor.

Carlo was looking like he was going to get a triple double in the first half and nobody was putting a body on him. Mark came late to the game but immediately put his stamp on the game making his trademark reverse layup. Seeing the game get more hellta Skelta Paul calls time out for Clever Trevor imploring his team to be more patience. Jason had the hustle play of the night stealing a court pass Mark tried and then scoring an easy layup. This must have made Nazgul pretty upset as the next two possessions were three’s by Carlo and Anthony. Paul makes his sky hook to bring his team to within five points. Paul yelling at his team telling them let’s hold for the last shot is ignored by Ed who makes and1 on Carlo. Speaking of Carlo he has cooled off tremendously not seeing the ball go in and then gets his second foul for and second and1 call against Ed. Paul is having one of his worst shooting night of the season and he knows it looking very frustrated. Who is guarding Mark tonight because he is killing Clever Trever leading his team in points with twenty. Clever Trever has a hard time understanding who to foul in the closing minutes, sending Mark and Carlo to the line instead of fouling Eamon who at least missed one from the line already.
