You Got Tibbs is the best team name in the league and this is the first time I’m seeing them play so, hopefully they are good. Edom is killing Quality shots on the board given his team extra possesses and it might just be the difference in a win or a loss. It’s clear that You got Tibbs don’t really know each other well because they don’t trust one another to do shit. The first half is almost over and they have zero assist but continue to hoist up three’s. This is a loosing battle for them and I already know it’s not going to end well at all if your You Got Tibbs. The game has become a clown show once you see Rich leaking back to get cherry picked points and the other team asking themselves who is guarding him? Three minutes into the second half and You Got Tibbs looks defeated already looking at each other like what are we going to do now? They are content with chucking up three’s and hitting absolutely nothing. Edoi is hawking the table making sure every assist is logged for him but his focus should be on making a three going zero for four for the game. This is a blow out as You Got Tibbs is not on Quality Shots level and got smoked so the ref called the game with three minutes left.

In the first game of the night, You Got Tibbs D took on Cote’s Crew. This was a tough game to watch. You Got Tibb’s showed up with 4 people and are playing with one of Cote’s players. Its not really a contest at all. Wide open threes and easy layups gave Cote’s crew the easiest win they will get all year. Not much else to say - game was over before it even started. Final score 78-34.

We had a 4OT game which was definitely a first for me. You would think that it would have been the most exciting game of all time... but even with 4 overtimes... the final score was 57-55. I love watching the big man Derek play for the Tibbs 'D team. He finished with a 20/20 game which included 29 rebounds. As amazing as that is, he was 4-18 from the FT line in a game that went to 4 overtimes.... We had not one, but two occasions in which a team went for 3 to win the game (they were down 2) and they airballed the three only for a wide open offensive rebound to be turned into a buzzer beater to send us to yet another overtime. This was a very fun game and we almost saw You Got Tibbs D get a rare win. Final score, 57-55 for the Heavers, who made so many clutch plays late in this game and deserved to win.

The turnout for this game was something for sure. By gametime, there was a total of 7 players ready to take the court. 3 for Tibbs and 4 for Hunky Tunk. Two players stayed behind from the 8pm game to help out and someone's little brother or son started the game for Tibbs. He played well too! Eventually just enough numbers rolled in for the game to be competitive and this ended up going down to the wire. I have never seen such dominance on the boards and in the post from a big man in this league. Big man Derek finished with 28 pts and 26 rebounds and led his team to victory. He was helped by Jonathon's 17 points as Tibbs got the win. Incredible shooting nights from Aidan and Othaniel kept the game close as they combined for 12 threes, but it wasn't enough. This was a very fun game to cover. 58-57 You got Tibbs.

I really don't know what to say anymore for the You Got Tibb's D team anymore. Half the time they don't even show up, and the other half, they just run around on the court refusing to rebound. This was the downfall of their game yet again, giving up countless second chance points and failing to create any for themselves. Meanwhile, we finally got to see Cote's crew at full strength. I had been warning the league of this for a few write-ups now, and they are here. They got AJ back for the first time since dropping 28 in week 1 and they put on a great performance as a team. Zach led the way in scoring and was a monster on the offensive boards. Charles and Jackson did their thing on both ends of the ball, and AJ added a very solid shooting presence, even though his shot was still working its way back into form. Cote's Crew looks really strong and I would not be shocked if they find themselves in the championship soon.
